Terms and Conditions

Effective January 1, 2026

Ridgecrest Concrete, ridgecrestconcrete.com, hello@ridgecrestconcrete.com

Agreeing to these terms

These terms cover your use of the Ridgecrest Concrete website and any concrete work we do for you. By using the site, asking for an estimate or booking a job with us, you agree to them.

If your signed estimate or written contract says something different from this page, that document controls for your job, because it's written for your property and your work.

The work we do

Ridgecrest Concrete is a concrete contractor based in Ridgecrest, CA. We build driveways, patios, sidewalks, steps, pool decks, garage floors, slabs, footings, foundations and retaining walls, and we also cut concrete and raise foundations.

What we've agreed to do on your job is what's written in your estimate or contract. Anything outside that, like extra square footage or tearing out something that wasn't listed, is a change, and we agree on it with you in writing before we do it.

The service descriptions on this site explain our work in general. They aren't an offer or a price for any one job. You can read more about who we are on our About page.

Estimates and pricing

Our estimates are free, done at your property and obligation-free. We base the price on what we can see and measure, plus what you tell us about the job.

Some things can't be seen until the old slab is out or the ground is dug, such as soft or wet soil, rock, tree roots, buried concrete or pipes. If we find something that changes the work, we stop, show you, explain what it means and give you a written price for the change, and we don't charge for extra work you haven't approved.

An estimate holds for the time written on it. After that, material and delivery costs can change, so we may need to update the price before we schedule.

Scheduling, weather and cancellation

Pour dates depend on the weather, the ground and when materials can be delivered. We won't pour in heat, wind, rain or cold that would leave you with a weaker slab, so we may move your date, and we'll tell you as soon as we know.

New concrete needs time to cure, which is the wait while it hardens and gains strength. We'll tell you when it's safe to walk on it and when it's safe to drive on it, and damage from using it sooner isn't covered.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us as early as you can. If we've already ordered materials or started work, you'll owe for those costs as your contract states. Nothing on this page takes away any right to cancel that California law gives you.

Payment

Your estimate or contract lists the amounts, any deposit, when each payment is due and how you can pay. Unless it says otherwise, the final payment is due when the work it describes is done.

If a payment is late, we may pause work until it's paid and use the remedies California law allows to collect what's owed.

Your part of the job

We need clear access to the work area and a way in for trucks and equipment. Please tell us where your property lines, sprinkler lines, septic system and any buried lines you know of are, because we can only avoid what we know about.

If your job needs a permit or HOA approval, your estimate or contract will say who is responsible for getting it. Once the concrete is poured, please keep kids, pets and vehicles off it for the time we give you.

Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover

Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If your contract includes a written warranty, its terms control what's covered and for how long.

Concrete can crack as it shrinks and as the ground moves. We cut control joints, which are planned grooves that give a crack a straight place to form, but hairline cracks, small color differences and minor surface variation are part of concrete and aren't defects.

Our guarantee doesn't cover damage from ground movement or settling we didn't cause, tree roots, loads heavier than the slab was built for, harsh chemicals, drainage changes made after we leave, using the concrete before it has cured, or work done by others.

To the extent the law allows, we make no other promises about our work or this website beyond what's written on this page and in your contract. The site is provided as it is, and we don't promise it will always be available or free of errors.

Limits on our liability

Ridgecrest Concrete is licensed and fully insured. To the extent California law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, and our total liability for a job is limited to what you paid us for it.

These limits don't apply to anything the law won't let us limit.

Settling a disagreement

If something isn't right, call us first at (442) 294-1117. Most problems get sorted out by looking at the work together, and we'd rather fix it than argue about it.

If we can't settle it that way, either of us may take it to mediation or to a court in the county where the work was done.

California law applies

These terms, and any work we do for you, are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page from time to time, and the version posted here is the one that applies to your use of the site. A signed contract keeps the terms that were in place when you signed it.

Questions about these terms

If anything here is unclear, call us at (442) 294-1117 or reach us through our Contact page, and we'll explain it in plain terms.
